Earlier this week, we announced 2020 Center Street: our new home in Cleveland’s West Bank of the Flats and an exciting next step toward our long-term goals. As we share the news with our clients and partners, I wanted to provide some additional insight into why.
In 2018, we set in motion a long-term, strategic plan for growth. And we knew a physical space to match our culture would be a critical component of realizing our potential and delivering on our purpose—to better the lives of Fathomers and our clients.
As we considered next steps, we leaned into our culture of collaboration to envision the best space for us. We surveyed Fathomers, defined a vision in partnership with Bialosky Cleveland, and enjoyed a thorough process of discovery with Howard Hanna’s commercial realty team.
With each step, an office that enhanced our ability to foster human connection and elevate the work we do with clients became more and more achievable. We saw much of the area’s best commercial real estate along the way, but when we first toured 2020 Center Street, we were struck by its promise.
The process is well underway to turn the promise of the space into reality. Renovations to tailor the building to our needs are wrapping up, and the space will be move-in ready in February 2021. I truly cannot wait to welcome Fathomers, our clients, and our guests to 2020 Center Street so you can see and experience it for yourself.
Given the long-term mindset with which we operate, we won’t rush to move in just because we can. Our full team won’t return to in-person work until it’s safe to do so, and that process will be carefully planned and executed, as well.
But when we can safely return to work and welcome guests to 2020 Center Street, I promise you: It will be well worth the wait.
