We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Business Support team and have a direct impact on continuing to build the operational infrastructure to support Fathom’s growth. This role will lead month-end close and reporting efforts, provide valuable and actionable insight into the financial performance of the organization, and assist in driving expense management and cash flow planning.
accounting manager responsibilities
- Manage month-end close process with support from Accounting Analyst
- Prepare and analyze all internal monthly financial reporting
- Assist in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Serve as financial reporting system administrator
- Manage existing internal control environment
- Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis upon request
qualifications for our accounting manager role
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Proven experience managing period-end accounting processes
- Experience with FinancialForce or similar financial reporting system
- Self-driven initiative, strong desire for achievement, and a mindset of continuous improvement
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-level execution
- Well-organized to manage multiple responsibilities and flexible to address conflicting priorities that arise
- Collaborative approach to working with all levels and teams within Fathom
