LinkedIn Advertising Update: New Demographic Response Data

By | June 25, 2012

LinkedIn now provides advertisers with a demographic profiling of ad respondents that is available on the interface just below the graph. This section, labeled “summary of who clicked on your ads,” allows you to see the percentages of people who are clicking on your ads by:

  • “Top seniorities”
  • “Top industries”
  • “Top job functions”

This information is available on the broader account and campaign levels as well.

These statistics can prove to be very helpful in enabling advertisers to potentially either refine their targeting options or add to their existing ones to keep ads relevant to their audiences.  If you are only targeting a specific industry, job function or seniority, you will still be provided with information on the other categories.
