After months of fund raising efforts for the Light the Night Walk, the team at Fathom, along with help from family and friends, has raised over $5,000 to help with awareness and funds to cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
We were the fourth highest fund raising company and/or team in all of Cleveland!
A few of us took part in the walk on Saturday, September 27th at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The mile-long walk started behind the stadium and finished with supporters walking around the warning track of the ball field.
Red balloons were carried by supporters, white balloons with lights were carried by cancer survivors, and gold balloons with lights were carried to honor those that lost the battle to cancer.

I forgot to mention that one of the photos was taken with legendary Cleveland Indians mascot, Slider. http://www.flickr.com/photos/fathomseo/2898656539/
The whole experience was what teamwork really stands for - with an outstanding cause at the center.
Besides the inspiration of seeing people gather strength in numbers with solemn testimonials to the departed, there was also a friendly vibe and uplifting tone to the procession, as the overall atmosphere was pretty life-affirming, even festive. The goodies--super-cheesy Papa John's pizza, glowsticks, and 100% cotton tees--also were much appreciated. I'm glad I took part in the event.
Great job everyone that helped to raise money. It just goes to show you that anyone/company can help make a difference.
