Last week, Mike Murray, Fathom’s vice president, led off the SEO Overkill panel at the Search Engine Strategies conference in Chicago. After telling attendees that that can ruin a good idea by trying too many tactics too fast, he reminded them to stick with the basics. Good keyword research, page titles, META descriptions, content and sporadic link building goes a long way.
