Website Magazine's Top 50 Search Engine Optimization Agencies

Lists can be a dime a dozen. Many of them are purely subjective, created for nothing other than getting attention and sparking debate. This is not the case, however, with a recent Website Magazine list of “Top 50 SEO Agencies,” the source of Fathom’s latest honor. In the March 2011 issue (subscription only), the magazine ranked websites using a proprietary, multiple-sourced method to gauge popularity based on average daily unique visits and page views “over a specified period of time.”

Fathom landed a #3 ranking, beating out other big industry players like:

  • iCrossing
  • iProspect
  • 360i
  • Rosetta

The magazine published the list with the aim “to help narrow the field of some of the best choices for your business.” The big lesson here is that a comprehensive approach to Internet marketing (and SEO) is important to your organization’s online health. But don’t just take our word for it … in its introduction to the list, the magazine’s editors write:

“… it is imperative that your SEO agency is ready, willing and able to serve in the age of more integrated Internet marketing.”

Thanks, Website Magazine, for recognizing our popularity, and thank you, visitors, for giving this website the traffic it needed to get this ranking.
