Google’s New Search Interface Tweaks

By September 13, 2011 Blog Feed No Comments

Happy Tuesday online marketers! I just wanted to clue you all in to a change Google has made official on the search results pages, after a few weeks of testing.

What changes were made? Nothing major, but here’s a rundown of the tweaks:

  • No icons for the search options in the sidebar
  • A new section displaying the name of the service (“Search”), along with the number of results
  • Minor tweaks to the colors or links and URLs

So while none of these updates are major or lifechanging, we just wanted to give you a heads up in case you noticed the change in your own searches.
